The following photos shows the installation of our new repeater system in Fayetteville, GA. (145.210- 131.8hz and 444.600+ 77hz) These repeaters are a part of the Fayette County Repeater Association, Fayette County ARES ( http://www.kk4gq.org) and the Georgia Skywarn Linked Repeater System. ( http://www.georgiaskywarn.com). The 444.600 repeater is the main remote base for WX4PTC at the NWS in Peachtree City, GA. ( http://www.georgiaskywarn.com/wx4ptc) These repeaters now have great coverage throughout the south metro Atlanta area as well as into downtown ATL. We update the gallery with pictures as things change over the years.

Robert KD4YDC on the right and Jim Burchfield W4JB on the left. Many thanks to Jim for being there that morning. A huge help in getting all the parts and pieces together.
Jim, Robert and Dr. Ron Johnson WB4GWA. Dr. Ron is an incredible resource for the 145.210 and 444.600 group. He elmered both David AG4ZR and myself (Robert) on the repeaters and how to make them really work well. We are forever in your debt Ron. Check out his repeaters (in Concord, GA 145.250- 110.9hz, 443.400 110.9hz and 224.460-...great coverage repeaters) , awesome boat anchors and other technical info at www.wb4gwa.com .
Jim and Robert discussing which clamps to use on which antenna.
Different clamps we have cobbled together over the years. Changed out all the rusty bolts with new ones.
How does this work?
3 of the 4 tower climbers. We also had 2 tower bosses on the ground.
One of the tower trucks.
Tower crew installing the 2mtr and 440 repeater antennas at the top. 2 heavy 3 foot stand offs are used. db420 on the left and db224 on the right. 800 mhz public service on the far left leg. The corner beam you see will soon come down.
